FY 2014-2017 TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM NOTICE OF COMMENT PERIOD FOR AMENDMENTS TO THE MACON AREA TRANSPORTATION STUDY 2040 LONG RANGE TRANSPORTATION PLAN AND FY 2014-2017 Transportation Improvement Program
Notice is hereby given that the public comment period has begun for amendments to the 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan and the FY 2014-2017 Transportation Improvement Program. The amendments reflect the following changes:
1. Advancement of the construction timetable for I-16/I-75 Interchange projects;
2. Bridge replacement projects over the Norfolk Southern rail right of way, at:
a. Pio Nono Ave./State Route 247;
b. Bass Rd.
c. Oglethorpe St./County Route 1694;
d. College St/County Route 5813
3. Bridge replacement eastbound and westbound on I-16 over the Ocmulgee River overflow;
Comments will be received until the end of the working day on June 7th, 2016.

On May 23, 2016, the Macon-Bibb County Planning & Zoning Commission is scheduled to consider an amendment to Chapter 27A of the Comprehensive Land Development Resolution that will change the design review procedures in the Historic Zoning Districts and the Central Business District. The Commission invites the public to review the documents below and submit comments regarding the proposed amendment. Comments should be emailed to email@example.com by April 19, 2016.
